The Woodville Store has served this community since 1844, and is believed to be one of the longest continually running businesses in Australia.

 

First licensed in the 1840s, the store still carries on the same services it was licensed for all those years ago. In 1863 it moved to its current home, a timber general store on Clarence Town Road, and it has traded from here ever since.

Today

More than 180 years on, the store is still where locals stock up, fill up, collect a parcel and catch up with neighbours. It's a living piece of Woodville's history.
